Kimmy vs 9th July 2011

Hi people, Malaysia is infamous...yet again. Bersih 2.0 was supposed to be a peaceful, non-violent rally to fight for the citizens rights for a good, clean and fair election. Is it so hard to grant them just that? I have a few questions though. By refusing, is the government trying to tell us that no elections we've had so far are clean(obviously) and that they do not want a fair, clean election in the future?

People were gathering in the streets. Where else do you want them to go after you've denied their access into the stadium? They've no choice but to move to the streets of course. In Facebook, I've "liked" Najib Razak's page to see the comments of those writing on his wall and was I surprised to see so many racist comments. Why are you people trying to re-create the 13th May event? What do you not like about each other? I just don't get it. Well, here's a clear fact. Besides the 'orang asli' or indigenous people of the land and the Bumiputeras of Sabah and Sarawak. NONE of us originally belong here. Read my lips...NONE.

Seriously, what would you gain from trying to get different races out of the country? Things will just get from bad to worse..Face it, we need each other for this country to move. You've just been played assed by some of the extreme politicians. All these people want is no one to tamper with the votes during elections, if the government can't give them that, it is nuff said.

Besides racist comments, I've also seen comments comparing Bersih protesters to Zionis. Hey, God has already chosen Israel to be the chosen nation and did you for once think that the Palestinians are the only ones dying? You have no idea what's going on in the Middle East. You don't think Israeli kids, women, widows, innocent Israeli lives count for something? Some of them lost their family members too. Most of them commenting are the majority. Why are all of you so intimidated? You're the majority for goodness sake and you have special privileges, why aren't you grateful enough?

Mister Prime Minister, if you're reading this (though I highly doubt it), are all of this worth your one trip overseas? I don't want to talk about any legal stuffs here until I'm well equipped with it. So, let's just talk about being a normal human. Have you ever been afraid? Do you know what it's like to feel afraid? I'm sure you do, we all do. Do you know what we fear most? We fear God. Do you? You see, in the Quran, Surah 16- Al Nahl Section 13 verse 90, it states

"God commands justice, the doing of good and liberality to kith and kin, and He forbids all shameful deeds, and INJUSTICE and REBELLION: he instructs you that ye may receive admonition."

Injustice and rebellion. Two strong words, side by side. You see the thing is..If justice was granted, there will be no rebellion. If you were smart, you would've understood, without having me to elaborate on it. Fighting for a good cause in a right way is not a rebellion. We Christians know it too.

"Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy."

Proverbs 31: 8-9 (NIV)

Why all the tear gas canisters? Have the authorities no heart seeing people suffering from the chemicals in their eyes? What if it was someone you knew out there, someone you love perhaps? None of the citizens deserved the beating given. Yet, you have the gall to tell the world, the security measures taken earlier were worth taking and no one got hurt. Are you very sure? Picture this..A kid, catches a glimpse of his dad on television or on YouTube somewhere, beaten up by those on duty. How do you think he or she would feel?
You don't know the life of being a regular Malaysian citizen, you just don't. Those questions, try answering them yourselves.

You may or may not argue with me, but God looks right through you and you're accountable to Him. Here's another thing, the new generation of children deserve so much more than this. Don't steal their future for your own benefits. That being said, those you've detained, their children aren't going to see them tonight. We have parents fighting for the rights of their children and in every part of Malaysia, a child is not going to get their goodnight kiss. Giving you an angle in life to look at that I know, you've NEVER seen before.A demagogue is a leader who gains intense loyalty by appealing to negative emotions and by polarizing groups against each other, often using lies and distortion, in order to advance his or her purposes. A wise leader shows not oppression but compassion.

Kimmy vs Day 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14

Hello..Erm..I didn't really keep up with the dates so bear with me kay? LOL..

Sermon by Pastor Tan about U-Turn..I came in after cheerleading practice. :S

On Tuesday night, we had our CG as usual and it's outing week! There was me, Angel, Eunice, Noel and Aaron, but it was so much fun and we laughed A LOT!

McD ice-cream for supper. :P

Then of course, there were also times in campus, where I have to do my work. That doesn't mean I can't have fun while at it. Hehe!

Pik Kee and Dzul..Melissa was beside me. Haha!

On Friday, we celebrated Janice's birthday right before midnight.

Happy Birthday Janice~!! :D
We all went to her house to do it..Naturally..Haha!!

Fuuuuuuuuh~

Everyone went home after that to get good rest for next day's Malacca Tour~!!

Sleepy faces. LOL!
At first we were sort of disappointed by the number of absentees whom we've organized this event for. Then again, numbers don't make an awesome team. A real awesome team is formed through each and everyone's will power. :)

Girly talk under the umbrella. :D
We had curry puffs for breakfast! Hehe!

Sleepy but excited :D

When the bus arrived......

Kenneth: Uuu..buttons!
Felicia: Thirsty..
Yi-Kheng: Hmmm...

Oh yeah! You know what's the best part?? We have.....

A TOUR GUIDE! x)
We were in the bus for quite awhile and when we finally reached our destination..

James couldn't help but enjoy the view.. x)

Time to move on to games!

My station: The blanket game.

How the game goes: Rival teams must trade names with each other and they have to remember the faces and the temporary name of the person. While in a squatting position behind the blanket facing each other, the team member that gets to go first has to eat a full cracker and when the blanket is opened, they have to shout out the name of the person behind the blanket. Whoever does it first and correctly wins.

Funny part: Spray your opponent with the crackers in your mouth as you say his/her name. xD

A lot of people got sprayed by crackers. My favourite was Kenneth and Scott. Kenneth waited only a second before saying 'FUUUAAAHH!' and sprayed Scott with chewed bits of crackers and Scott's hair literally blew back and was covered with it. xD

Strategy..

James trying to figure out the name. x)

After games, we went to Jonker Street for lunch!

Edmund with a pink umbrella..HAHA!

Calanthe Art Cafe!!

Peace!

Look at everyone...
